Refunds & Returns

I work pretty hard for my money so I expect quality when I spend it. If I purchase something and it's not satisfactory I go to that company's website and email them. I tell them what I bought, the size, etc., how much I paid and why I don't like it. Then I give them my name and address and ask for a full refund plus 6% sales tax to be sent to me.

I've done this 3 times recently and every one has sent me a full refund. I don't do this because of buyer's remorse. Only because the product was truly disappointing and I felt I was owed a refund.

If you do buy something and get it home and don't like it, take it back in a timely manner. I'm sure we all have clothes, shoes and other items that we purchased then didn't like and we still have with the tags still attached. Take it back as soon as you decide you aren't going to use it while you still have the receipt handy.

This reminds me to tell you to check your receipts after shopping. The store is required, by law, to have the price that is scanned by the computer match what is marked on the product. If not and you have left the store and returned, you are entitled to the difference plus up 10 times the difference up to $5. Don't be afraid to keep the stores honest by claiming your money.

Also check your credit card and bank statements carefully for any unauthorized charges or debits. It pays to be diligent.
