Should you participate? Well if your company matches any of your deposits, of course. To me it's like a raise, it's definitely part of the benefits of my job. My company matches 80%. That's damn good in my opinion. I've not heard of another company that meets or beats it. Of course I've not really researched it. Just talked to people. There is a max of I think $50 a week I can put in that they match but then they give me $40 that's a dollar an hour raise. Actually the $50 is pre-tax so it probably comes out to more than a dollar an hour but I'm not savvy (I would say smart, but I am smart just lazy and not very Google-fu) enough to figure it out.
