Daylight Saving

Daylight Saving starts early this year. Instead of the first Sunday of April, it's now the second Sunday of March. Also instead of ending in October it's now ending the first Sunday in November. This is per the Energy Policy Act of 2005, signed into law on August 5, 2005.

It's Spring-Forward, Fall-Back. I always forget . I hate losing the hour of sleep since I have such trouble with insomnia as it is. But since I'm off work right now it doesn't really matter this year.

Evidently DST was started in order to save energy back in the 70's. Even though each home may only save a small amount, added all together it amounts to extremely large savings.

I like because it makes it seem like Spring is here and with it starting early even better. And my gas & electric bill the last two months have been HUGE so any savings will be great.
