Taxes

So I finally did my taxes. Actually I still need to do city but that just takes a few minutes. I use H&R block online. It's so easy, just type in the numbers and it does the rest. It keeps your information from year to year and prints outs a comparison over the previous year.

I didn't do that good this year. I'm getting $128 from state and $925 from federal. I don't like to get a big refund. I'd rather have my money during the year so I can save or invest it. $128 from state is good, I don't think I could get that any closer to zero. The federal is pretty high. I do change my deductions during the year so that for a few paychecks no federal taxes are taken to avoid this. I'll check over my paystubs and see how many times I did it in 2006 and increase it a few extra this year.
