Have you heard of 2-1--1 ??

Do know what 2-1-1 is?? Have you ever heard about it? The first time I heard it was when I received a call to do a survey. I love taking surveys. This one was odd the girl asked questions, that to me, were not related. But one of the questions was, Do you know what 2-1-1 is?

Then probably two days later there was a small blurb about it in the newspaper. Hmm.

So what is it? Well it's an information data base that you can if you need help or if you want to help. For instance they can, provide a daily call to the homeboud to ensure they are ok, give specialized information and referral for drug and alcohol agencies, HIV/AIDS programs, employee assistance programs, give information about childcare, training for former welfare clients, assist with court ordered case palns,. They do a bunch more, it through the United Way. For more information this is the page. There are only 8 more states that don't have it yet.
