I'm sure there will be a follow-up but if it's true that any call over 45 seconds gets billed as 2 minutes, it would be nice to know that BEFORE signing up. No one wants to try to compare plans only to find out that they aren't comparing the same things.
Some of the commentors are thinking that perhaps the extra minute is a connection charge OR that the call actually starts when you hit the /send/ button not when the call connects. I guess those are valid guesses. But who wants to guess?? All companies need to disclose all charges and any hidden secrets such as this.
